When the customer asked if this was something we could do, we were excited to take on the challenge!
Come with me and I’ll walk you through how I transformed a plain little tike’s car into a mini tribute to the bond bug. From choosing the colour match orange, to prepping the surface, and placing the vinyl’s where they needed to be.
First job was to disassemble the car!
Next was to do all the preparation, rubbing down and applying the primer.
Then to colour match with the ‘big bug’. Lots of masking up for the different colours, and then the spraying begins.
We kept the client in the loop and had lots of discussions where the transfers needed to go.
Last was to put the car back together and to deliver to the happy customer. We do love a project here at Ultrafinish.
